Job Summary:As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust test automation framework, organizing and maintaining automated tests, and transitioning existing tests from older technologies to new, efficient frameworks. You will also convert manual test cases into automated ones, develop API tests, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Your role will involve improving the efficiency of our test suite and incorporating performance and load testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiency, optimize costs, and improve application performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement a test automation framework.
- Organize and maintain automated test scripts.
- Migrate existing tests from legacy systems to new frameworks.
- Convert manual test cases into automated tests.
- Develop and execute API tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our services.
- Conduct performance and load testing to identify and address bottlenecks.
- Improve test coverage and suite efficiency.
- Provide innovative solutions and business value adds to optimize processes and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
- Maintain and update documentation related to testing processes and frameworks.
- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices in test automation.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Cypress, JMeter, or Protractor.
- Strong experience with TypeScript, CSS, HTML, SQL.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab and Jenkins.
- Experience with C# and Angular 16 (or later) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in test automation and software testing.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing test automation frameworks.
- Experience with performance and load testing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
